Happy Belated Nat'l Scrapbook Day...

How's everyone doing? I had somewhat of a scrappy day yesterday on NSD. The hubby was home for the weekend, but still gave me my time to celebrate the greatest hobby on earth!! Here's what I was up to...

*
As you can see I made a ton of cards...gotta have those on hand nowadays. I just refuse to pay $3-4 on a store bought card that gets tossed immediately. Know what I mean? And also made a bunch of these little ribbon flowers. I love them so much. I want to make about 50 more and have them on hand like my various homemade cards! If you want to make some yourself, they are super easy and you can get directions right *HERE* from this awesome...amazing...gifted girl Candice!

And the hubbs and I got to go on a date and take in some fun at the oldest dance hall in Texas. This Place. We saw Charlie Robison...country singer. He's married/or not anymore (he made a comment while on stage that had us wondering if his marriage is on the rocks, plus no wedding ring) to Emily from the Dixie Chicks. I don't care for his music all that much, but Jamie loves it. You know how you make those little sacrifices for the ones you love!! I got to have a nice dinner with him before the concert and take a romantic stroll through the darling little town of Gruene, so it was all worth it!

Now I get to look forward to a yummy dinner with him and the kiddos... bacon wrapped shrimp, rosemary new potatoes, and whatever else the TOP CHEF decides to make us. Oh the smell! I am so happy right now :-)
