Alive and Kicking and still waiting...

I'm feeling better! That's huge! Finally got a z-pack from the doc last week and now I'm in tip top shape. Well...not exactly. At this point in my pregnancy I have the mental stamina, but unfortunately no physical stamina. I want to get out and go go go, but my body says no no no! I did see the doc yesterday and I am now 3 centimeters dilated and 80% effaced (that's when the cervix has softened up - yucky, I know!). But my water has yet to break and contractions haven't really kicked in yet. He said he wouldn't be surprised to see me before my next scheduled appointment (on Monday). Let's see how God has this all planned out!
.
In the meantime, we are enjoying the Christmas vacation. The girls might be getting a bit of cabin fever, but when you keep getting snow storms every 2-3 days, it's kinda hard not to stay inside. Yup, still cold here! Lotsa snow outside. The most snow Minot has had in over 10 years! I thought we were going to bring the nice Texas weather with us when we moved?! We've been punked!
.
Here are some pics from Christmas. I know Lala & Papa are looking forward to these. I have more, but don't want to crash blogger by uploading too many pics.

* The whole fam damily.
* Laura, Kelly, Matt, Mackley and me

* Lauren modeling her new vest and scarf (she even sleeps with her scarf).
* Lauren and her favorite gift...the rollover dog!

* Some of the cousin kiddos

* Master Chef Jamie!

* Tang cheers

* Bella getting her PINK POTS/PANS from Lala and Papa...she's already used them!

* Opening one of the many Gymboree outfits...they're all so cute!

* I love the natural light coming from the window - looks like a spotlight on her!
* Yay...new jeans!

* Our budding chef

*Love her face on this one!
.
Well...that's it for now. Hope to check in one more time before baby J makes his appearance. Hope you're all enjoying this holiday season. Happy New Year!
