Why Not Minot? As in the motto for Minot, North Dakota...where we live now!! CAUSE FREEZIN IS THE REASON. And I am not kidding! If you're not from anywhere near here, you have no idea what -18 degrees feels like. Actually with wind chill it feels more like -39 degrees. That's BELOW ZERO! For you all who live in a warmer climate...be happy and be thankful you do not have to deal with this crazy weather.

I might not be such a wimp about it right now if I weren't so sick. How's this...second nasty cold in less than a month. I'm so miserable and I can only take a couple of different things for it right now (which aren't working), so needless to say, I am not a happy camper! I haven't even come close to finishing my Christmas shopping. I have no energy to do online shopping. I can't even look at my craft table, so there goes any ideas of hand making gifts. I hope everyone is understanding this year, cause it just isn't happening! I hope you are all better off than I am right now. I can't believe Christmas is in 9 days already. Dang! Anybody have any great last minute ideas that could help me out? I need some major help.

So with the weather being less than stellar around here, we've been staying indoors a lot. That means trying to keep the girls preoccupied...not an easy task! We've done a lot of crafting, attempted making Christmas cookies that were way more work than I was looking for and even managed to put together a gingerbread house!

We took in my brother's H.S. Girls Hockey game the other night (he's the coach) and while Lauren was finishing up her tootsie roll sucker, out came her 5th baby tooth. Stuck in the tootsie roll part! I don't think it was ready to come out, but it did and there was lots of blood to go with it! We took off running for the bathroom and got her all cleaned up. She was pretty excited knowing that the Tooth Fairy would be coming that night!!

Baby appointments are still going well. Every week I get hooked up to the monitor for my non-stress test. So far so good! I'm 2 centimeters dilated. Yay...hopefully that means he's getting ready to come soon. I just hope it's not before Christmas. My doctor is out of town till after the holidays. Sit tight little buddy.

I decided to do a little digital scrapbooking. Well, it was all for our Christmas card, but still. I am not a digital scrapbooker and probably never will be, but gave it a go for this years card. It was not an easy task. I played around a while before finally deciding on THE ONE. Here is my first one that I did as a 12x12 layout (wrong size of course). This isn't the card that I chose to go with!

So sorry you're not feeling well Gina. Sending get well vibes and warm winds your way. I was complaining about how cold NY is but I'll stop and be happy now. I'm sure this has been quite an adjustment for all of you. Hope you have a great week.
OK...I thought WE were cold. I guess I should be thankful:) Sorry you're not feeling well. I hope you're feeling better soon. I know how hard it is when you are pregnant and sick and you can't take anything:(

Sorry you aren't feeling well, I remember how helpless you feel being pregnant & sick knowing you can't take much of anything to get relief. Hang in there and take good care of yourself! Guess I won't complain about the temps in the 30s & 40s here in SA!
I can't believe that the baby is coming so soon! Has it been 9 months? It is colder than cold up there, and here we are whining it is 39! Claire asked about you guys the other day, and I wondered how you are. Hope you feel better soon.
