Lots to share...

First off...we're in! We are still in the midst of a mess, but we are making progress. We have had a lot of help (thanks to moms and dads, co-workers, carpenters, painter, plumber, etc). It's going to be a while before we are truly settled, but for now...we can call it home. I'll share more pics, but this is it for right now.

Lala and Papa came up from Dallas to help us with the house and see Jace for the first time. The weather was awesome for the first 4 days that they were here. Unfortunately, the day they were supposed to leave we got a snow storm (freezing rain and wind). They cancelled their flight and were stuck here for one more day. I'm sure they were happy to get out of town after all of the labor intensive housework!! Thank you for all of your help. We really appreciate it :-) The girls even took them sledding on a nearby hill by our house. I think they liked it!!

Of course I have to post some new pics of the little man. I absolutely love this pic with big sis. She is still missing 4 teeth right now...can you see them??? And does Jace look a little scared in this shot?

We had Jace baptized over the weekend. It was such a nice service. All of the cousins wanted to be right there next to him the whole time. The pastor allowed Lauren and Bella to anoint him, too. They loved that part!! Afterwards we all went to Planet Pizza for dinner. Not exactly the place I had in mind for an after baptism get-together, but it worked with all of the kids. Plus, our house was in no shape for a party.

And this was an idea Lala had for the girls. The girls were running around the house in their swimsuits and she suggested they get their boots on and head outside for a quick photo. We had just gotten all of this new snow, so it made a great backdrop. They were good sports being that it was only 20 some degrees out.
