MARCH 7th...A Very Special Day

For this sweet little girl.

Six years ago...we were blessed with Lauren Olivia Price. I've said this before, but I can't tell you how happy I was to get a little girl. All during my pregnancy, I was sure we were having a boy. Boys were big in our family! And then out she came. I was thrilled :-)
.
She has grown up to be such a lovely little girl. She has really surprised me at being such a good big sister to Jace. She is especially good with him when he's fussy. She'll sing to him and talk to him (basically gives me a break from having to hold him or rock him all day!!). And when he makes the smallest squeak or coo...her heart melts!
.
We helped bring her treats to school on Thursday and as we were standing in the hallway, her teacher asked her if she wanted to introduce us (mainly the baby) to her classmates. She was very excited to do that. We were her show and tell for the day. She was so proud to talk about her little brother, I had to fight back the tears (you know...I'm still hormonal!!!)

So today is all about Miss Lauren. We started the day off with her favorite...3 pancakes with a little sugar powder (that's her version of powdered sugar) and syrup. Daddy was kind enough to make them for me while I took pictures. Now they are watching her new HSM 3 movie and later she'll be going on a DADDY DATE...just daddy and daughter to 10 North Main. Nice, huh? In case you all don't know, it's probably the nicest restaurant in Minot and happens to be owned by Minot native/Hollywood star Josh Duhamel who just married Fergie!! Anyway, it is a very nice place to go for dinner, so Jamie is treating her like a princess tonight. I told Bella we'll hang out here and order pizza. Anyone want to join us?
