Just 10 days ago...

The girls were outside making some really cool chalk art! Yes, it was chilly enough to have on a hat and scarf, but today...TODAY...we have 3 inches of snow on the ground. Well, that is what I see out on my deck. It is still very wet snow and is melting on the roads, but you should see our trees, patio furniture, etc. Hibernation mode is kicking in. Not sure I can get pumped up for an early winter. They are saying that this weekend will be warmer...50's. I can deal with that! It's a busy weekend, too.
2 Halloween/Birthday parties. My first out-of-house crop at a local hotel...can't wait! Jamie's first official Chili cook-off...GO Jamie, GO Jamie! The girls have also been asked to go to the new Where the Wild Things Are movie on Sunday (thanks Annie). I've got to write this all down, otherwise I'll forget something. Hope you all have a great weekend!!

Love the chalk art!! Now it's time for your winter to begin... fun for a while and then you get tired of it, right? At least you get cool snow pics to scrap... I wish it would snow here at least for a day or so...

As always I am loving those pics. It looks like the girls have some of their Mommy's artistic ability! So fun and colorful. LOVE it!
