Home-Sick

yes...I've been home the last two days with little sick boy! he's got all of the cold symptoms (minus fever) and super crabby. Today has been pretty tough on both of us. He has spent more time in my arms (the only positive thing) and cried the most since he was just a few months old! We've had lots of baths...which seem to make his day despite being so uncomfortable. He even dipped his head in the water...turning it side to side and then bobbing face first into the water! He would look up and give me a big smile after he did it :-) Anyway...it's been hard not being able to run to the store or go the Y...I miss Zumba!!! But this is why I am a stay-at-home mom! I've got to take care of my babes...first priority!

While Jace slept for 45 mins. (normally 2 hours), I quickly put together something so fun. I saw yesterday on Rhonna's Blog (check it out!!) how to make those awesome coffee filter flowers! OMG! I called my husband right away and asked if he'd bring me home a new box of them (since I wasn't getting out with a sick baby). Well guess what? Not only did he bring me home a box of coffee filters...but it turned out to be a GIANT (not jumbo) - I MEAN BIGGER THAN YOUR HEAD - ACTUALLY THE SIZE OF TWO HEADS - GIANT coffee filters! I figured they'd be ok to work with, but they were SO MUCH FUN to work with. I only had time for one GIANT flower. It turned out super cute and I even sprayed it with my Glimmer Mist for some added sparkle! Here it is in Lauren's room...

* Yes...that flower is made out of coffee filters! You should try it, too!

* Last night we received a really big package from Lala and Papa. It was chock full of Valentines presents for everyone in the family. THANK YOU SO MUCH...Lala and Papa! We love it all so much!!
