Yes...you could say we are in the DO IT YOURSELF mood these days. I have been busy painting for a couple of weeks...working on the basement, a little splash of color in Lauren's room and now jazzing up Jace's bare white walls. We have also taken on switching out all of the VERY dated door knobs on all of our doors, but unfortunately we ran into some door holes that weren't big enough for the new knobs. Jamie plans to drill those holes out to the right size. And just today we finally took on the project of fixing the NOT TO CODE issue out on the deck. Jace would easily fit through the gaps of the railings. We do not want that to happen. SO...Jamie and the girls went to town on adding an extra post. I am so proud of them for getting this project done before the weather gets really nice. Oh and the girls were very helpful in getting the last remains of snow off the deck...

And here are some of my paint projects that are underway...
I added a few GREEN stripes to Lauren's wood paneled walls (I'm not the biggest fan of wood paneling) for a new look.
Finally finished up those coffee filter flowers for her room.
And a shot of the circle dealy things...have had them for about 3 years now and finally got around to adding some fun fabrics.
Adding more stripes...light blue and grey! Jamie looked at it and said we could turn it into a Dallas Cowboys themed room! I'm considering it...maybe!
Got these awesome canvas pictures from WINKFLASH...they were 40% off. Love em!
And finally a few new layouts to share. I did 17 pages yesterday! It's the most I've ever accomplished in one sitting. My hubby was super sweet and gave me lots of "ME TIME". Thanks babe!

Gina? Where do I start??? First of all LOVE all of the pages. You are on fire. 17 pages? Totally going to have to order up some canvases now and I LOVE Lauren's room! Those flowers turned out so amazing and I love the hoops with fabric too. Geesh girl...send some of that mojo my way. You rock!
