It's Been Forever, HUH?

Hey there everyone...relatives, friends, scrapbook girls, whoever might still be out there checkin in!! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all my mommy friends. After church, we stepped out for a few pictures...we have such a nice area outside the church perfect for pictures! It was Lauren's idea to take these in the circular structure...cool, huh?!

This is sweet of my mom and Lauren. My mom came through big time for me this weekend. Jamie was in St. Louis (as was my dad) for a convention, so I was on my own for 3 days. Unfortunately, I got the 24-hour bug on Friday, so my mamacita helped me out big time. She even stayed over 2 nights. We watched The Tooth Fairy and Avatar...WOW. That Avatar was pretty awesome. I wish I would have seen it in the movie theatre, tho. The guys made it back in time for Mother's Day Brunch, so life is somewhat back to normal now!

This 7-year old finally decided she was ready for pierced ears! She was the one who was not having any part of it the last few years that we've offered. She's the cautious type, so it was nice to see her decide on her own and not even cry!!!!! Yay, Lauren! She's been very diligent about reminding me to help clean her ears 3 times a day.

This little guy has a new favorite food item...celery with peanut butter. YUMMMMMMMY! Mommy doesn't care to clean up the remains too much, but it keeps him happy for a very long time!!

AND...he's got a big thing for pens and pencils. Yep...right in the mouth they go! Not fun for mom either. Especially when he finds a marker and manages to get the top off. NASTY!

AND...he's got a thing for climbing now. EVERYTHING. The table is one of his favorites, as you can see...

Finally...you can see what a little stinker he can be. I put the chair up to the sink, so he could hang with me while I was working in the kitchen. He was being such a good boy, so I gave him a sucker. He then started to dip his sucker in the water...I guess it tastes better when soaked in water. Next thing he's trying to drink the water from the faucet. Before I know it he's putting his head under the water! I was totally cracking up.

Pretty funny, huh?

Well...I know it's been quiet around here for some time, but I hope to pick up the pace a little. This week is going to be rather busy for us with gymnastics, soccer, golf leagues starting, mommy going out of town for *this* photo workshop. SO EXCITED...I hope to learn lots.
