Getting outta here...

So these pics are out of order...it's better to start at the bottom and scroll back up. This is our house right now! Yep! We are remodeling the kitchen and putting in new hardwood floor. It is a total mess and we aren't able to use our main floor for anything. We were all set to have our floor put in yesterday, but the wood came out of the boxes all scratched up. Not happy about that at all. Now we are awaiting a whole new batch of flooring and hopefully we'll get back on track in a few days.

FORTUNATELY...we are heading down south. We are taking off for tornado country...praying we don't run into any nasty twisters. The girls will miss their last day of school (tomorrow) but this whole week has been all play anyway. They've walked to the movie theatre to see HOP, they've walked down to the Dairy Queen for an ice cream treat, they've had pizza parties, they had an all day read-a-thon...I can't remember if we did so many fun things the last week of school! So Dallas...here we come. When I come back, I'm expecting our house to be back to normal and have a brand spankin new kitchen installed and fully functional. Haha...I know it's asking a lot, but I can hope!

We are all looking forward to some nice hot weather...the warmest it's gotten around here is 70 and right now we can't more than a day or two of decent weather. Rain and flooding is the norm here. I'm out!! Have a great day!!
