Photoshop practice

I really REALLY need to take a class on Photoshop. I'd really REALLY like to take a digital scrapbooking class as well. I think I'm better at the photo editing at the moment, but it's because I will spend way too much time trying to figure it out. I can only imagine the shortcuts that are out there and everything else I'm missing out on. I must get going on this learning thing!!!

** Warning... Warning **

The narcissist in me came out the other day and I went crazy taking self portraits. Mostly cause I'm usually in the pool everyday and have crazy nasty pool hair and NO MAKEUP on. It's a big deal for me to get jazzed up and looking decent these days. But yesterday I got ready with the intentions of getting out of the house and doing something other than swim all day. We hit SAM MOON (the craziest store on earth that sells lots of knockoff purses, wallets, jewelry, hats, belts, sunglasses, hair stuff...pretty much anything girly and dirt cheap!). If you have never been to one...come on down to Texas and see for yourself. It's total chaos! The girls had the best time playing dress up while we were there. We also went to Target and Sprouts Farmer's Market. Target has and always will be my favorite, but Sprouts is now at the top of the list. They have the greatest fruit and veggies...at the best prices!!

So back to photoshopping. I did some with the self-portraits and in case you haven't heard of this woman...you need to check her out and download her FREE ACTIONS. I used only her actions. They're free! Go get em!

AFTER first and before second!

The before pic looks grey to me...but after the PW's Actions I'm all set!!
.
So what do you think? It's kinda cool when you can photoshop all of those moles and freckles!! And turn the orangey light from the bathroom into a normal color!!

Gosh, I miss Sam Moon! I'll have to visit my parents before they leave Dallas, so I can make one last trip. LOL! Loved seeing all of your before/after photos, and thanks for the link to the actions. Unfortunately, when my computer crashed, I lost Photoshop (it was installed on my computer by the last company I worked for). So, when I bought a new computer, I didn't have the funds for Photoshop. Now, I'm stuck with Photoshop Elements. Not so great. And, her actions don't work on Elements, but she says that she's trying to make some for it. So, there's still hope!
