* A little support from her little sis.
* Mrs.U
* Waiting in the cafeteria before class.Today was the day. Set the alarm for 6:30 a.m. Haven't set an alarm in 5 and a half years. It wasn't as bad as I thought, but getting ready...everybody ready...and out the door by 7:15 was a little rushed. I think we'll be setting the alarm for 6:15 from now on.

Oh...in case you didn't know, it was Lauren's first day of kinder. I thought I would be a total sap, especially since I've got a bunch of crazy hormones in my body right now. But I managed to keep the mascara from running down my face. It was pretty busy in the school and a little disorganized, but it is the first day. Lauren was pretty excited and happy that she found her little friend Jasmin right away (she met her at the meet the teacher meeting). Some kids were crying and chasing their parents out the door, some clinging to legs, and others like Lauren that were ready to get the party started!!

She didn't cry. We didn't cry. We left feeling pretty good about the whole thing. It's awfully quiet around the house this morning. I miss her already! We have about 2 and a half hours left before we go get her. I'm going to have to stay busy until then. I'm sure she's having the time of her life...right?! Ok...deep breath. I'll be fine. She'll be fine. WE'LL ALL BE FINE!!

The guessing game is going well so far. Keep em coming. I already have a few things set aside for the winner. It's going to be a compilation of some of my favorite things. A little bit of this and a little bit of that!
.
And a few more layouts that I worked on over the weekend!! Have a great Monday!!

it was fun to see you friday. they grow up so fast - it's nice that you are expecting #3 so you can keep yourself busy with Lauren out more! I am excited about winning...ha ha.
Awww....I remember Lij's first day of school. He was one of those kids who cried...ALOT...okay, he screamed bloody murder...I'm not kidding...I wish I was...he really did! I thought he was going to scare the crackers out of the other kids with all his yelling and carrying on! He did this for about a week...yes, a week. I guess he was just so attached to me and so used to being at home. But after that, he did just fine. Mikey will be starting in two years. I will miss him so much since I know I won't be having any more kids :( I have a feeling, he won't have any problems. He loves being around kids.
I love all your new LOs!!! Always love looking at your work :) I want to get some more scrapping done. Maybe tomorrow. Take care :)
That post brought tears to my eyes. I am so not looking forward to Hazel starting kindergarten next year. Bitter sweet is right. I'll miss my little buddy while she's gone all day, though. As for those LO's...they're gorgeous! I especially like the "Eyes" one. That color combo just plain rocks...I'm gonna' have to dip into the palette myself.
Loving the LOs as always. I always try to replicate your style, but mine just don't come out looking like yours:( You ROCK;)
I remember kindergarten too...just like it was yesterday. I never had a crier. Both of mind did well on their first days, thankfully. My baby started 2nd grade this year and my son is on his last year of middle school!!!
I'm sure Lauren is having a blast at school:)
