We had an ultrasound this morning to check on the baby. I think I mentioned that one of my genetic tests came out higher than normal. The specialist told me I had a 1 in a 100 chance of having a trisomy 18 baby, therefore requiring more testing. I was nervous and worried, but tried to keep in mind that I have a 99% chance of having a healthy baby. We opted not to have an amnio and hoped that the ultrasound would show no signs of any problems. Well, this morning our prayers were answered and we got a good report. Everything is looking great so far. No red flags. I do have to go back in 4 weeks for another ultrasound, so let's just keep praying that that one will turn out fine, too!! Thank you to those of you who've been thinking of us. It's nice to have some good news.
