WOWZA...

.
I'm psyched this morning! Totally psyched! Things are starting to look up around here! I just found out that this layout above was picked for the SISTV's CATWALK. Thank you Martha! How sweet! I haven't been on that site for a long time and wasn't even posting any layouts (it's been months). Then I decided it was time to get my feet wet. I wanted to start slowly, since I have an obsessive personality and don't want to be goofin around on sis all day (you know what I mean, right?). Anyhow...I reluctantly posted a couple of layouts the other day... and shazam! One of them got picked for the CATWALK today.
I'm feeling like this is another sign that things are gonna turn around here. Yesterday we had a good appointment with the Doctor and today I made the catwalk...let's see how I feel after we take Lauren to get a HepA shot this morning!! She HATES shots and the last time it took me and another nurse to hold her down so that the 2nd nurse could give her the shot. It was a true battle. We were victorious in the end, but I'm not kidding when I say I was sweating and needed a stiff drink afterwards. I'm sure the whole floor of the Doctor's office heard her screams and cries and she probably scared every little kid in that office half to death!! That' my Lauren...she's a fighter :-)
.
One more cool thing...the baby is kicking now. I LOVE IT! I was just starting to wonder if it was ever going to happen (I remember my other ones started kicking around 5 months). I forgot what it felt like...so I'm happy it's moving around in there!!
Happy Tuesday.

Congrats! That's an awesome LO!!
Ugh, I NEVER do the shot thing...NEVER..can't stand to see my child cry and then I have to hold him down? Nope, I've always made that the "Daddy job".
Aww..how awesome. I've never had an enjoyable pregnancy...nothing about it agreed with me. But oh I remember the feeling of movement inside and that was about the only great part...other than the actual outcome! LOL Almost makes me want to have another...ALMOST! LOL I'll keep you in my prayers :)

Congrats on the catwalk! That LO is super-cute. Hazel doesn't mind the shots so much, but don't try to stick her finger for blood. Good lord! I know what you mean about sweating and needing a stiff drink! Tee hee!
